Crystal

I went to Nasa and bought a 'rock from the moon'.
It was completely purple, so I put it in some water and found out it was painted purple!
After I cleaned it, it started to grow little crystals inside of it. Does ANYONE have any idea what this buddy is?

I think I figured out what he is - I think he's a meteorite. On the outside it is all hard and boiled like lava - but on the inside it's beautiful and looks just like marble.
I gave him some water and the sparkles in the middle turned into even larger crystals! It even grew some black crystals all speckled in it. 
The inside has also slightly turned violet. My guess is it was originally 'purple' and that's why NASA painted it - to make it look more interesting. But he's beautiful just the way he is,  mystery space crystal <3

HOLY CRAP! This is not just any meteorite, this little buddy has grown even more crystals, and literally at night produces humming sounds. I had him outside to osorb some moonlight, and it started screaming when I tried to leave it alone outside! (it is extremely attached emotionally to me and when I leave it alone it gets really small) BUT THIS TIME IT MADE A NOISE! I got it on video tape which I will probably upload to youtube. This meteorite crystal magical space buddy is so mysterious, any explanations?
